Board Meetings

The meeting place, starting in May of 2023, will be in the EPVMD hall at 99 School Street. The meetings will be held on the 3rd Thursday in February, May, August and November at 7 PM.

Board Members

The Murphys Cemetery District is a Special District of Calaveras County and is governed by a legislative body known as the Murphys Cemetery District Board of Trustee who are appointed by the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors for four year terms. The responsibility of the Board of Trustees is to establish policies for the operation of the cemetery district.

Staff

The Murphys Cemetery District has one part time groundskeeper and a substitute groundskeeper who works when needed.

Our district is dedicated to operating in a transparent manner, and posts relevant financial and operational documents to our site as they become available.
